Comfort-Pack 1 with TwinTerminal 3.0

In order to make pre-metering, calibration and residue emptying even easier, AMAZONE offers for the AD-P, in conjunction with AMABUS or ISOBUS, the Comfort-Pack 1 with its TwinTerminal 3.0. The TwinTerminal is mounted on the seed drill next to the metering units via a magnetic console. This position offers a decisive benefit: the driver now can carry out the actuation and data input for the calibration procedure directly on the machine and thus the repeated climbing up and down into the tractor is no longer necessary.

The TwinTerminal 3.0 consists of a water and dust proof housing with a 3.2" display and four large keys for actuation.

With the AmaDrill+ in-cab terminal, AMAZONE offers, in addition to the ISOBUS terminals, a machine-specific terminal. The new dimension in control and monitoring

With AmaPad 2, AMAZONE offers a particularly high-quality operator terminal. The 12.1" multi-touch colour display is particularly user-friendly and fulfils the highest demands of Precision Farming. AmaPad 2 is operated solely via touch.

With the practical "MiniView concept”, applications which aren’t being actively operated at that moment, but need to be monitored, are clearly displayed at the side. When needed, these can be enlarged using "a finger swipe”. The possibility of individualising the "dashboard panel” with a choice of display rounds off the user ergonomics.

Accurate placement of the seed.

Precise sowing is very important, in order to avoid overand under-sowing in critical areas. A remedy for accurate placement is offered by the half-side control, which reduces the relevant working width to half so that a significant saving is achieved, especially in wedge shaped fields and on the headland. The two halves of the drill each correspond to one controllable part-width section.

GPS-Switch with AutoPoint

The new AutoPoint system automatically determines the delay time, i.e. the time between the start and end of metering, and the flow characteristics of the seed at the coulter. The seed flow at the coulter is permanently monitored for each switching point via a sensor on the coulter. Changes in the flow characteristics of the seed and changes in the driving behaviour can therefore be reacted to.

Segmented distributor head

The segmented distributor head provides huge flexibility for the pneumatic seed drill. Without any effort asymmetrical tramlines can be carried out without any undesirable seed rate reduction on the other half of the machine.

The segmented distributor head provides electric half-side shut-off and Section Control. The half-side control is located directly inside the distributor head. Stoppers, used for blocking off every second outlet when sowing, for instance, spelt, are available as an option.

Variable tramline control

With the aid of the tramline shut-offs, in total up to six seed rows per side can be switched off. The correspondingly wide tramline wheel tracks are suitable for tyre widths up to 1,050 mm on a 15 cm row spacing or 875 mm on a 12.5 cm row spacing depending on the following crop husbandry tractors. In this way AMAZONE takes into account the move towards those crop husbandry tyres getting wider and wider.

Seed pipe monitoring

Another useful system to assist the driver is the optionally available seed pipe monitoring which detects immediately any blockages down at the coulter and in the tube. Directly behind the distributor head, sensors monitor the seed flow in the seed pipes. Incorrect switch-over of the tramline rhythm is automatically detected by the system. Especially on long working days, the monitoring is an elegant solution to help keep an eye on the working performance.

For the on-line transfer of data between AmaTron 4 and agrirouter

The myAmaRouter App enables data to be exchanged between the AmaTron 4 ISOBUS operator terminal and the agrirouter manufacturer-independent data exchange platform. If an AMAZONE machine is to be used to carry out a task with job data (e.g. application maps), the data can be easily transmitted from a Farm Management Information System (FMIS) to AmaTron 4 via agrirouter and the myAmaRouter App. After the work has been completed, the job can be sent back and is available for documentation in an agricultural software application.
